Almost 700 people, mostly educators, attended the 23rd annual Dr. Richard Boylan Memorial Lecture presented by the Riverside Medical Clinic Foundation this week.
If parents, teachers or members of school staff see an instance of bullying, it has probably happened almost 100 times before, family therapist "Anadrol 50" Jon Pease said.
Reporting bullying is not tattling, Pease added. Parents and teachers must open conversations and explain the difference, he said.
Not just the targets of bullying are at risk, but the aggressors too, Pease said.
About 60 percent of male middle school bullies have criminal convictions by the time they are 24, according to Pease. They are more likely to smoke, drink, vandalize and drop out of school, Buy Cheap Jintropin Online he said.
Bullies have too much self esteem and not enough empathy. Bullying is more often perpetrated by the cool kids and student athletes, he said.
Girl bullying is even worse than boys, keynote speaker Tina Meier said. In 2006, Meier TMs daughter Megan committed suicide a few weeks before her 14th birthday after being cyberbullied.
Teens TM brains are still developing, and they think their peer relationships are as important as survival, Meier explained.
Megan had what she thought was an online boyfriend, Josh Evans through MySpace. Josh broke up with her online, and kids from both her old and new schools Primobolan En Zweten began posting MySpace messages calling Megan names, Meier recalled.

Students with disabilities are least able to withstand bullying but are the most likely targets, said Robin Sinkhorn, of Riverside.
Sinkhorn TMs daughter is Lauren Potter, a Riverside Poly High grad with Down syndrome who is in the cast of the hit TV show Glee. Potter was appointed to the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
